Last week we had two baby showers. One in San Diego and one up here in Vallejo. Both were fabulous! Everyone was so generous and you could feel a lot of love for little Scarlett already.
An enormous amount of effort went into these showers; however, I know specifically that the Vallejo shower had been given months of planning and prepping from Beverly Velasco and Chelsea Suafoa. These girls really know how to throw a party! They could start a business! They went with pink and green colors themed throughout the shower. I almost felt bad walking in and wearing blue and orange!
Everything was gorgeous! Words cannot explain how grateful I am for such wonderful friends who care so much to work as hard as they did to celebrate a wonderful occasion.
The trees blossomed outside the Velasco home with these gorgeous pink flowers, which went perfectly with the pink and green theme!
It was no surprise that the food was absolutely fantastic! All of may favorites were served: pumpkin waffles with homemade cinnamon syrup, pasta salad, hawaiian fruit salad, bacon, quiche, and shrimp cocktail.
Oh and the dessert bar was to die for! So many fabulous sweets and the presentation was so gorgeous, it looked as if it belonged in a Martha Stewart magazine!
It was such a wonderful day I didn't want it to ever end! Too bad Scarlett didn't want to come that night to top it off!
And of course a blog post wouldn't be complete without a recent prego photo! This was taken at the 35 week marker. Almost there!
Geez I look tired in this picture . . . And I really don't know how my belly got this large!
